About Us
Who We Are
We are a joint of eight industry professionals who have pooled our resources and combined our experience to form a progressive company in the field of aggregate transport (Whiterock Ventures Inc.) and aggregate supply (Payless Sand & Gravel). These companies were officially incorporated in 2008 and 2006 respectively. Our business offices are located at 2235 76 Ave. NW., Edmonton At this location we hold aggregate material and stage our transport equipment. White Rock Ventures Inc. employs over 50 highly trained individuals.
What We Do
Whiterock Ventures Inc. generally supplies aggregate material to the construction industry but has maintained several large contracts for transportation of general aggregate materials for large General Contractors. Geographically, we work all over Alberta but we are not limited to Alberta only. We provide aggregate from our own sources and also purchase from strategic partners.
How We Do It
Whiterock Ventures Inc. has a large fleet of over 100 well maintained transportation units. Most units are then 5 years old and consist of Quads, Tandem and TriEnd Dumps, Tandems and Flat Beds. Our newest aggregate pit is located in Fallis Alberta and Two Hills, Alberta
Where We Are Heading
Whiterock Ventures Inc. is continuing to make strategic partnerships with key industry leaders. We plan to expand by opening aggregate sources in the East, and North of Edmonton as well as adding new and replacing old transport equipment.
Who We Work With
Kiewit Management, KMC – PLC a joint venture, Hazco Environmental Services, Alberco Construction, Earthwise Contracting, M.A.P. Earthworks, Wapiti, and Carmacks. In total we serve over 100 customers.
Safety
Safety is our major concern. We have a company safety policy which we strictly implement. Every employee of the company has to follow the safety policy.
What We Have Done
Whiterock Ventures Inc. has worked on several major projects since its inception in 2006.
– 23rd Avenue and Calgary Trail/ Gateway Blvd Interchange (supply of 100,000 t of spec gravel as well as transport of fill clay)
– Anthony Henday and Lessard/ Callingwood Interchanges (supply of aggregate materials)
– Anthony Henday and Stony Plain Road (Transport of fill material)
